((Like the other posts, this post is open forever for anyone who wants to talk to Washu but doesn't see me around.))

So, I've failed at playing Washu. Hard. Mostly because I NEVER FREAKING GET HER OUT EVER usually because I'm self-conscious about actually being as open as she is and butting in and starting to talk to people. ^^; And ignoring a character like I did is really not. cool.

So, last week, I was all set and ready to drop her. ...but I've thought about it, and I really don't want to drop her. I love the character and I feel like I haven't given her a proper shot. So, I went back, reviewed her canon, and discovered there is NEW canon information about her past. ...This happens sometimes, as the creator, instead of actually putting this information in the show, likes to put it in novels and doujinshi instead. -_-;; Anyway. Am all rehyped about Washu, and am ready to get her back out and actually get somewhere this time. ♥

But, for now, I thought I'd put Washu's ENTIRE HISTORY here as it's very long and very interesting and there's no way you'd know it just from watching the show. On the off chance anyone might be interested. I didn't retype it all as that would take forever, but rather copied it from this guy's site here, which is the best site ever on Washu.

So, Washu, being a goddess and genius, is capable of sensing most things and figuring them out. Usually in her canon it is revealed that she had figured out something right at the beginning while the others had no idea the entire way through. ...Now. She doesn't usually do anything with this, unless she gets especially curious. It's just sort of filed away in the back of her mind to keep an eye on. She keeps her mouth shut and it's a rare day when she tells someone's secrets. ...That includes talking about them to the person in question, haha. So if you don't say so, then Washu may never bring it up at all.

I know that there was a post made describing all the character's pasts and powers, but she isn't going to figure out anywhere near everything at first glance, she'll just notice the more significant things. She'll be more familiar with anything scientific or related to data, along with being able to evaluate the nature of beings (she knew that there was someone inside someone else, for instance). I am very paranoid about stepping on people's toes, so this knowledge will absolutely not be used unless I'm given the go signal from the player. However, I have a few things I'd like people to answer, because there's no way for me to know all of the things she might be able to tell.

1. What sort of thing might Washu be able to sense in your character, and do you want her to mention it?
2. Is it okay if you become one of her guinea pigs and are dragged off to have tests run on in often uncomfortable and humiliating ways? (She only humiliates people she wants to tease, so if you want her to be more serious about researching your character and not traumatize them she'll absolutely do that instead.) Note that this means that if she runs tests on you, she'll probably discover some things. What would be okay for her to find?
3. Is there anything you want to be sure she doesn't sense/notice/persue?

For other character reference - she's capable of a lot, especially with different dimensions, biological and chemical developments, and technology. One of her first experiments was creating a universe in a bottle. If you want anything involving science done/talked about/researched, obviously she can handle that as well, but she might choose not to. If you want her to mess around with something, go ahead and prod her, and depending on who you are and how intruiged she is by the situation she'll work on it. Also? Despite how paranoid I might be seeming, she is a comedic character, and Tenchi Muyo is filled with crack. Thus, pretty much anything can go with her as far as excuses for not noticing something/messing up/etc. There are no rules.

As far as sensing goes - like I said, she's a goddess, so she's got that power hidden, and although she usually looks like a child, she's at least 20,000 years old. Do what you want with that! :D

Also: Washu has one flaw in her security system. She's never successfully managed to keep idiots out. So, the more insane/ridiculous campers will have the ability to waltz into her lab by complete accident, mess up her experiments, and just generally harass her. >D

AND ANOTHER THING. Washu really loves mothering people. Really. Her baby son was taken from her ages ago and her daughter won't accept her as a mother, so she's starved for mother-child interactions. Anyone who would be willing to let Washu act like a mom will make her VERY happy.
